Elevate D3

A good quality vitamin D3 complex is a necessity for every supplement protocol, and so we’ve developed Elevate D3 with various important factors in mind. 

First of all we wanted to make this essential product accessible for all, so we opted for a vegan form of D3 - we chose Lichen.

Lichen is a unique organism, a symbiosis between algae and fungi, and it naturally produces vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), the same form of vitamin D found in lanolin (animal source). Its bioavailability is as good as lanolin (commonly used in vitamin D products). Lichen is a cleaner, more sustainable source of D3, and avoids potential contaminants associated with lanolin, such as hormones, antibiotics, or other substances used in animal farming. Each capsule contains 4,000 iu of D3. 

Elevate D3 is a nutrient complex product - it includes other important nutrients which work synergistically to support overall health. the most important of these is vitamin K2. 

Vitamin K2 is important in vitamin D intake because it ensures calcium is used effectively in the body, contributing to both bone strength and heart health, while preventing harmful calcium deposits in the arteries.

We wanted to make sure we used the best form of K2 to allow for optimal bioavailability. And whilst it was proposed that synthetic K2 was a very cost effective, viable option, we decided not to use it. Although the natural source (fermented Natto) is very expensive, it was always going to be our preferred choice. 

Natto is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin K2, specifically in the form of MK-7 (menaquinone-7). This form of vitamin K2 is highly bioavailable and has a longer half-life in the body compared to other forms like MK-4, making it more effective in the long-term. 

MCT oil (from coconut). An important addition to the complex. Since vitamin D3 is fat-soluble, it is best absorbed when taken with fats. MCT oil facilitates the absorption of D3 in the intestines, allowing for optimal bioavailability. 

Crucially, each of the nutrients in Elevate D3 are in optimal doses to provide the best possible vitamin D3 product.
