What Are Bio-enhancers?
The term bioenhancer is an ancient Ayurvedic word that quite simply means the growing effect of a drug. Bio-enhancers are chemical entities that help improve the bioavailability (the magnitude and degree drugs enter the system) when mixed with drugs or supplements. Bio-enhancers can help to increase the bioavailability of a drug or supplement when taken together without any adverse effects on the pharmacologic action.
What do bio-enhancers do?
Scientists are becoming increasingly interested in herbal bio-enhancers due to their many benefits. Firstly, they are non-toxic and effective at low dosages which makes them easier to formulate and enhance either medication or nutrient's pharmacologic function.
